Governance & Quality Specialist - Milan

Your Mission

As a Governance & Quality Specialist, you will work together with the Ubiquicom product, finance, and sales teams to operate processes aiming to support the company strategies, and you will execute and control the processes and procedures ensuring they are effective and successful.

You will focus on understanding company and business objectives to reach the operational excellence and working in the following business areas: portfolio management, program management, quality assurance, risk and issue management and reporting.

You will be responsible of defining and running the best tools to support the processes and, to monitor and control the key performance indicators, implementing countermeasures and action plan for continuous improvement. Among your responsibilities you will also support quality processes to maintain the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 company certifications.

Dealing with poorly defined operational problems and acting to resolve and manage those problems is part of your daily activities. You will be in the lead for managing problems such as: How do we control progress of company initiatives against target? Are teams working in alignment with company business objectives? How can we facilitate issues resolution and risk reduction? Are we meeting our quality targets?

As part of our responsibilities, you will:

  • Define procedures and tools to collect data from other teams.
  • Merge data to provide KPI to top management.
  • Coordinate cross functional team (internal and vendor) effort.
  • Support the issue and risk management process.
  • Accomplish project tasks and enforce action plans.
  • Supervise quality procedures.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or economics.
  • 2+ years’ experience in operations management or business process consulting company.
  • Structured way of working, drive, passion for impact, and pragmatism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, persistence, and result-driven mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in English.
  • comfort in a fast moving, IT-related environment and working with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Proven experience of working with technology passion for engineering and innovation.
  • Motivated and self-reliant, comfortable with flat hierarchies and an informal work environment whilst keeping the highest standards of quality.
