UBIQUICOM History

UBIQUICOM was founded in the early 2000s with the mission of innovating industrial automation and safety by introducing some of the first real-time locating technology solutions to the Italian market. From the outset, the company has focused on technological vision and anticipating market needs.

Over the years, it has become a leading provider of RTLS (Real-Time Locating Systems) and IoT sensor technologies, consistently investing in research and development to ensure reliability and growth.

Today, UBIQUICOM designs and delivers intelligent, connected solutions for locating vehicles, assets and people. Its extensive range of technologies and applications helps to increase operational efficiency, enhance safety and optimise processes in complex industrial and logistics environments.

Since 2024, UBIQUICOM has been part of ZAPI GROUP, an international leader in technologies for the electrification and digitalisation of industrial vehicles. Joining the Group represents a further step in the company's growth, strengthening its innovation capabilities and global presence.

UBIQUICOM has developed the RTLS – IoT Connected Ecosystem: an integrated suite of solutions designed to optimise productivity, automation and operational safety. This includes advanced real-time locating systems, intelligent tools to improve industrial and logistics processes, anti-collision solutions to protect people and vehicles, and a web-based telematics and remote diagnostics platform.

The Contract Logistics “Gino Marchet” Observatory, a vertical work team within Digital Innovation Observatories, that since 2011 analyses the third party logistics sector in Italy, with the support of a broad and highly specialised community and the collaboration of Assologistica.
