Senior Sales, Strategic Business Development
Your mission
In the role of Senior Sales – Strategic Business Development, you will be responsible for developing the company’s strategic business relationships and will aim to expand Ubiquicom’s customer portfolio through joint sales efforts with partners, targeting a defined group of companies—both domestic and international—in the Material Handling, Manufacturing, and Logistics sectors.
You will support the company’s international growth through independent sales initiatives targeting large multinational corporations.
Your activities will focus on finalizing OEM agreements or contracts for end-user solutions within Ubiquicom’s product and service portfolio.
You will be responsible for ensuring the company’s sales and profitability targets in the target segment, maintaining commercial relationships with the aforementioned operators, and reporting periodically to management on sales performance.
You will maintain a database of clients and prospects, manage the sales pipeline, and conduct intensive outreach at partner and client locations.
At the strategic level, you will collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Director to define medium-term sales strategies and contribute to the development of the marketing plan based on the allocated annual budget.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field, or equivalent/higher qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in sales of complex IT or OEM products and solutions
- Proven track record in acquiring new customers and building profitable long-term relationships
- Proven client portfolio and in-depth knowledge of decision-makers within target companies
- Understanding of the subcontractor’s role in delivering “design, build & run” solutions and the related contractual arrangements
- Excellent communication skills and experience in conducting sales presentations and events
- Proven ability to create sales presentations and supporting materials (using PowerPoint, Canva, etc.)
- Knowledge of sales support tools related to new technologies (e.g., use of professional social networks, webinars, …)
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
- Ability to work in a team, particularly with internal and external technical and sales departments (suppliers and main contractors)
- Independence, initiative, and creativity; ability to adapt easily to dynamic and rapidly growing environments
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to travel, including internationally
